Covid-19

Thank you for booking or considering booking Manor Farm Stay. We have completed a full Covid-19 risk assessment and are confident that we can re-open safely. We have also completed the Visit Britain ‘Good to Go’ and AA Covid Confident industry standards.

We have implemented a few changes for the foreseeable future and would like to tell you about these before you arrive or book. This has two benefits: 1) To reassure you that it is safe to book and stay at our Bed and Breakfast and 2) to alert you of your responsibility to respect Covid-19 safe guidelines such as social distancing from other guests.

We really look forward to welcoming you to Manor Farm Stay and sharing this peaceful place with you again. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Please follow the current government advice for minimising the risks regarding Covid-19,

In particular:

  • Wash your hands frequently and use hand sanitiser
  • Adhere to social distancing guidelines, 2 metres or 1 metre with mitigation (e.g. face masks) inside and outside the property
  • Wear a face covering in the communal areas, except once seated at breakfast time

Pre-arrival

We will contact you before arrival to agree a check-in time between 4-8pm. This is a later check-in time than usual to allow for the usual high standard clean along with a deep clean to sanitise all areas. We understand this may be inconvenient for our guests but we feel it is important to allow adequate time for the enhanced cleaning to ensure everyone’s safety.

If you are going to be early or later than your planned arrival time please call us beforehand. If you arrive early please be aware that there are no toilet facilities that you can access until check-in at 4pm.

Do not travel here if you or anyone in your household have any Covid-19 symptoms or have been in contact with anyone displaying symptoms within the last 14 days.

We have systems to ensure social distancing, please follow our instructions. We will be wearing a face covering and it is mandatory that you also wear a face covering in the communal areas.

On arrival

Please use the hand sanitiser provided on entering the Garden Room.

You will be asked to fill in the Manor Farm Stay registration form and make payment, you can pay using cash or card, cash is always preferred as we pay commission for every card transaction.

You can scan the QR Code if you are using the NHS COVID-19 App. This is in addition to filling in the Manor Farm Stay registration form, not as an alternative.

You will be asked to make your breakfast choices.

We are sadly unable to offer the usual welcome refreshments, however tea and coffee making facilities are available in your room, along with plenty of homemade biscuits.

During your stay

Your room has been cleaned and disinfected and any items quarantined for 72 hours where appropriate. An antiviral disinfectant conforming to EN14476 is now used for all areas.

If you would like your room servicing please tell Rachel or Dom. Your room will be serviced between 10:30-13:00 and you must vacate your room during the room service. Room service is not available for stays of 2 nights or less. If you require fresh mugs or glasses or replenishment of the hospitality tray please ask.

If you feel ill with Covid-19 symptoms at any point during your stay please inform Rachel or Dom (preferably by phone) and follow the written procedure provided in your room.

Sorry, no visitors will be allowed at the B&B.

We have been advised to remove unnecessary items to reduce the risk of touch contamination so all cushions and books have been removed, along with local information magazines and leaflets.  Do ask if you need some fresh reading and Rachel the bookworm will tell you what we have.

For local information, please consult the Explore document in your Welcome folder or ask for information about local attractions. www.visitlincscoast.co.uk is a useful resource.

Please supervise your children at all times.

Breakfast

Tables will be spaced out to meet social distancing requirements. Please wear your mask until you are seated.

You will be asked to choose your breakfast time slot so we can stagger arrivals in the Garden Room.

The full menu is available but there will be no self-service for cereals, please pre-order these along with your hot breakfast.

Breakfast orders are requested by 8pm the evening before, please text or email your order to us or write it on the notepad on your door.

Eating Out

With reduced seating available in local restaurants it is very advisable to book ahead.

Hot food may be consumed in the Garden Room if social distancing rules can be adhered to but no takeaways after 9pm and please put used containers in the black wheelie bin.

No hot food (takeaways etc) may be taken into the bedrooms.

Check-out

Check-out is 10am which is slightly earlier than usual to enable time for deep cleaning.

Before vacating your room, please open the windows in your room to encourage ventilation, remove all personal items and put rubbish in the bin.

Place your keys in the dish in the Garden Room.

Thank you for your help in ensuring everyone has a safe and enjoyable stay!
